Sustainability of FRAMESI Fashion Wows Taiwanese Universities

The competition offers a total prize of NT$100,000. Shu-Te University and Framesi Taiwan are collaborating to pursue ESG fashion.


To fulfil their social responsibilities, Shu-Te University (STU) and Framesi Taiwan have joined forces and signed a cooperation agreement. On March 18th, Vice President Hui-Ming Kuo of STU, Chairman of the Department of MICE Marketing and Event Management Cheng-Wei Chung, along with Mrs. Celine Hsu and Mr. Kelvin Chen of SHELIKE COSMETICS CO,. LTD, witnessed this significant moment at the Science and Technology Exhibition Innovation Center of STU. The signing ceremony also announced the upcoming “2024 Framesi Fashion Street Snap and Short Video Creation Competition”, which offers a total prize of up to NT$100,000. Anyone interested is welcome to participate.

Shu-Te University and Framesi Taiwan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).


This cooperation involves bilateral collaboration between universities and enterprises and aims to address sustainable environmental issues in the fashion industry. The event featured MICE's Goddess, a group of students from the Department of MICE Marketing and Event Management, who collaborated with Framesi Taiwan to launch the new 'MORPHOSIS HAIR TREATMENT LINE' series of products. This range of products focuses on hair care that is environmentally friendly, promoting the concept of 'zero pollution'. This not only enhances the beauty of consumers but also fulfils the social responsibility of ESG sustainability by advocating for the protection of the earth. It calls on the fashion industry to keep up with the trend of sustainable environmental protection and work together to contribute to the global environment.

MICE's Goddess presents the latest products from the 'MORPHOSIS HAIR TREATMENT LINE'.


Hui-Ming Kuo, Vice President of STU, STU is dedicated to focus on application-oriented science and technology education that is student-centered, teaching-focused, industry-research-oriented, and employment-practical.  The Department of MICE Marketing and Event Management organized this event to attract more young people and provide students with the opportunity to showcase their expertise and gain direct entry into the workforce after graduation.


Celine Hsu, the importer and distributor of Framesi products in Taiwan, has announced that this year, for the first time, the competition will be open to photographers and videographers across the country. The aim is to demonstrate the new street value of Framesi's sustainable charm series using the infinite creativity and ingenuity of the participants. Celine also expressed her hope for future cooperation with STU, including high-end technical guidance, internships, and employment opportunities.


Kelvin Chen, the chief Executive officer of Framesi products in Taiwan, is widely acknowledged that the world now places great importance on environmental issues, and there is a collective hope that the environment can be developed sustainably. In the past, this responsibility was solely on the enterprise side, but now schools are also taking part to promote sustainability together. Both parties collaborate and, through self-promotion and marketing, inform consumers that we co-existence, co-glory, co-benefit, and contributing to the sustainability of the environment.


Chairman Cheng-Wei Chung and Project Director Yung-Chia Chiu from the Department of MICE Marketing and Event Management stated that Kaohsiung's tourism has become increasingly international in recent years, leading to the growth of the MICE industry. STU, the leader in Taiwan's convention and exhibition industry, has signed a contract with Framesi Taiwan to showcase new technologies at the school's innovation centre and collaborate with enterprises. High school and college students, society members, and hair salon operators are invited to participate in organized activities. Collaboration between industry and universities allows students to gain insight into various aspects of the workplace and learn different technologies, showing the innovative vitality of the MICE and Event Management Department.

The guests collectively initiated the '2024 Framesi Fashion Street Snap and Short Video Creation Competition'.


Hsiang-Yun Chen, a graduate of STU, became a full-time employee after completing her internship. She expressed her happiness at having had the opportunity to intern in the industry before graduation, gain practical experience, and successfully transition to full-time employment. Chen encourages fellow students to seize similar opportunities and enrich themselves.


The contest is currently open and will close on May 6th. Framesi Taiwan is offering a total of NT$100,000 as an incentive. Students from high schools, vocational colleges, colleges, general public, and hair salon practitioners who are interested in photography or short video creation are welcome to participate and capture street fashion together.
